Netflix Announces “Brock: King of the Mountain” — A Tribute to Australia’s Racing Icon
April 26, 2025 — Netflix has announced a major new addition to its acclaimed sports documentary series with Brock: King of the Mountain, a film honoring the life and career of legendary Australian driver Peter Brock. The documentary is set to premiere globally on July 20, 2025, marking what would have been Brock’s 80th birthday.
Directed by award-winning filmmaker Kriv Stenders, Brock: King of the Mountain offers a powerful, emotional portrait of the man who won a record nine Bathurst 1000 races and captured the hearts of Australian motorsport fans. Through rare archival footage, personal letters, and new interviews with family, friends, and rivals, the documentary reveals the triumphs and turbulence that shaped Brock’s extraordinary journey.
