Faith Torrez Shines as Oklahoma Sooners Clinch Seventh NCAA Gymnastics Title

 

In a season defined by dominance and consistency, junior Faith Torrez emerged as a key force behind the Oklahoma Sooners’ seventh NCAA women’s gymnastics championship.

 

Torrez delivered standout performances throughout the year, including a perfect 10 on floor exercise in a high-stakes matchup against No. 5 Florida. That meet saw the Sooners earn a season-high team score of 198.075, with Torrez’s flawless routine igniting both the crowd and her team.

 

She also notched a career-high all-around score of 39.775 during the regular season and earned multiple SEC Gymnast of the Week honors, underscoring her position as one of the nation’s top collegiate gymnasts.
