BREAKING: Chickasha Wrestling Star Dylan Bratt Suspended Indefinitely
CHICKASHA, OK — April 15, 2025
Chickasha High School’s wrestling program has been rocked by controversy as sophomore standout Dylan Bratt has been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules, school officials confirmed Tuesday morning.
Bratt, who made headlines last season by going undefeated and winning a state title at 106 pounds as a freshman, had been expected to be a cornerstone of the Fightin’ Chicks’ 2024-25 campaign. Sources close to the program say the suspension stems from a “disciplinary matter” involving an off-campus incident, though no further details were provided.
“We hold our student-athletes to the highest standards, both on and off the mat,” said Head Coach Chad Randle. “This is an unfortunate situation, but we’re focused on upholding the integrity of our program and supporting Dylan through the process.”
The school has not disclosed the length of the suspension or whether Bratt will be eligible to return later in the season. His absence is a major blow to the team’s hopes for a deep postseason run, as Bratt was considered a favorite to reclaim his state title.
Bratt and his family have not commented on the situation at this time.
