In  season full of promise and grit, the Kentucky Wildcats have been hit with devastating news: star guard Jaxson Robinson is out for the remainder of the 2024–25 season due to a wrist injury that requires surgery.

 

Robinson, a key piece of Coach Mark Pope’s system and a BYU transfer, had been averaging 13 points per game and was a spark plug on both ends of the court. His standout 27-point performance earlier this year against Mississippi State had fans dreaming big. But that dream has dimmed.

 

The injury, initially suffered in February, worsened during a recent game against Oklahoma. After missing four games already, the decision was made to shut him down for good.
