🎙️ Kruk and Kuip Still Swinging: Giants’ Legendary Duo Inspires in 2025 Season

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Beloved San Francisco Giants broadcasters Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper, affectionately known as “Kruk and Kuip,” continue to leave a lasting mark on baseball fans in their decades-long broadcasting partnership, now well into the 2025 MLB season.

In one of the most heartwarming moments of last year, the duo watched Game 1 of the 2024 World Series together—as fans, not broadcasters—for the first time ever. The moment served as a tribute to their unbreakable friendship and enduring legacy off the air.

Krukow, who has long battled inclusion-body myositis, continues to adapt to health challenges by calling road games remotely from NBC Sports Bay Area’s studios. Despite the physical toll, his passion for the game and fans remains as strong as ever.

Their contributions to the game were honored in November 2024, when the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ SF/NorCal Chapter inducted them into its Silver Circle, a prestigious award celebrating 25+ years of outstanding broadcasting achievement.

Though Kruk and Kuip were runners-up for the 2025 Ford C. Frick Award, their legacy is already cemented as one of the most iconic duos in baseball broadcast history. Their signature blend of humor, storytelling, and love for the game continues to resonate with generations of Giants fans.

From booth to studio, Kruk and Kuip remain the heart and voice of Giants baseball—and in 2025, they’re proving the magic is still very much alive.
