Pierce delivered a dominant performance Saturday night at Lucas Oil Speedway, outpacing a field of elite competitors to claim one of the most prestigious victories on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series calendar. The event, presented by FloRacing and the Missouri Division of Tourism, drew a packed crowd and millions of viewers online.
However, it was Pierce’s heartfelt post-race comments that resonated most deeply. Fighting back tears in Victory Lane, he dedicated the win to Jake, recalling the bond they shared at the track and in life.
“Jake always believed in me, and this one’s for him,” Pierce said. “He fought so hard. I just wanted to do something meaningful in his honor. That’s why I’m donating the full winnings to the American Kidney Fund—to help others avoid the pain our family went through.”
