SAN FRANCISCO, CA — San Francisco Giants legendary broadcasters Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper — better known as “Kruk and Kuip” — have officially signed contract extensions that will keep them on the air through the 2026 MLB season.

The duo, who have been synonymous with Giants baseball for over three decades, say they have no plans of stepping away anytime soon.

> “I’m pretty confident if we’re both healthy and of able mind, we’ll continue to do it,” Kuiper shared in a recent interview.

Krukow, who battles a degenerative muscle disease called inclusion body myositis, and Kuiper have adopted a split-schedule format in recent years — Kuiper handles all home games and select road games, while Krukow calls games remotely from the Bay Area.

Despite health challenges, both say their passion remains strong. In a recent podcast appearance, the broadcasters said they hope to follow in the footsteps of legendary Phillies announcers Harry Kalas and Richie Ashburn — both of whom remained in the booth until the very end of their careers.

Fans will also have a chance to see them live during a special event at the Sydney Goldstein Theater in San Francisco on May 15, 2025 — a rare opportunity for an up-close evening with two of baseball’s most beloved voices.
