Jose Vitor Leme Fires Back to Top Form with Double 90-Point Rides, Targets Third PBR World Title
ONTARIO, Calif. — Two-time PBR World Champion Jose Vitor Leme made a powerful statement at the PBR Unleash The Beast event in Ontario, California, capturing his 27th career event win with two thrilling 90-point rides.
After a challenging 2023-24 season filled with injuries, Leme returned to competition looking sharp and determined. He kicked off the weekend with an 87.5-point ride on I’m Him. Then on Sunday, he delivered back-to-back 90-point performances — first scoring 90.25 points on HomeBru in Round 2, then topping that with 90.5 points aboard Umm in the Championship Round. Those rides marked the 83rd and 84th 90-point rides of his already legendary career.
“I’m so happy to be healthy again and riding good,” Leme said after the event. “God is blessing me a lot. I’m so proud. The focus now is on the third gold buckle.”
With this dominant win, Leme earned $50,883.33 and 147.5 points, catapulting himself to No. 3 in the 2025 World Standings — just 34.5 points behind leader John Crimber.
As the Unleash The Beast season continues, Leme is once again looking like a serious threat to capture his third World Championship title.
