Jen Carfagno and Husband Neil McGillis Celebrate Big Year of Family and Environmental Milestones
In early 2025, Jen Carfagno, beloved meteorologist and co-host of The Weather Channel’s America’s Morning Headquarters, and her husband Neil McGillis celebrated a whirlwind year of personal joy and professional achievements.
The couple marked their 20th wedding anniversary with a heartfelt beachside ceremony, surrounded by close family and friends. Their daughters, Natalie and Kelly, contributed touching letters, highlighting the deep bond within the Carfagno-McGillis family and their shared commitment to protecting the environment.
Adding to the celebration, Jen and Neil welcomed their third child, bringing new energy and love into their growing household. This exciting new chapter coincided with a major career milestone for Neil, who was appointed Director of Sustainability Initiatives for a leading environmental nonprofit. In this role, Neil will lead critical efforts to combat climate change—an issue both he and Jen care deeply about.
Jen also enjoyed a career highlight this year, being inducted into the Meteorologist Hall of Fame at the Weather Discovery Center in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. The honor recognized her lasting contributions to the field of meteorology and her dedication to public education on weather and climate awareness.
